The fabrics of Odisha are unique in its nature, processes & design, the type of raw material and the artistry involved in it makes the fabric naturally colourful & elegant. If you describe in one word which is holistically describe Odisha Textiles: its IKAT weaving art. In this threads are tied (especially tie-dyed) and woven to produce a range of patterns on the weaving loom, this is called the Bandha. This is the most popular amongst weavers & creates a distinguish place in the textile industry. Apart of IKAT there are many other types of weaving arts in the State. We have different villages in Central & western Odisha, where the weavers practice their art work from ages & have global recognition for their work. Day 01: Bhubaneswar Arrival 

Arrival at Bhubaneswar airport, meet & Greet, transfer to hotel. Pm visit to temples of Bhubaneswar: Rajarani Temple, Mukteswar Temple, Lingaraj Temple. Over night at Bhubaneswar. (Total 60 Km) 


Day 02: Bhubaneswar – Olasingh- Bhubaneswar 

Morning drive to Olasingh Weaver Village, famous for Tussar Silk Fabric. Explore the village by walk, visit their handloom unit with the village leader. Here you will witness also the classical tiger mask dance. Second half visit to Mangalozodi Eco village to sea Fishing Net weaving & Boat Making process. Mangalozodi is known for Bird Paradise & famous for Community based tourism. This is the best example for conservation of natural habitat & Ecology . Evening back to Bhubaneswar. Overnight stay at Bhubaneswar. (Total 160 Km.) 


Day 03: Bhubaneswar – Dhenkanal Royal Palace 

Morning chk out from Bhubaneswar & transfer to Denkanal Royal Palace, then lunch at heritage home of Dhenkanal Royal Palace, Built by the Singhdeo dynasty. This is a very calm place with full of natural greeneries. Guests can enjoy at the palace. Dinner with bonfire and enjoy the local cultural programs, Overnight stay at Dhenkanal Royal Palace. Overnight stay at Dhenkanal Palace. (Total 75Km) 


Day 04: Dhenkanal Royal Palace 

After breakfast visit to Sadeibareni Dhokra craft village, at this village all craftsmen use indigenous method of brass metal. Evening visit to Joronda Temple: The age old temple of Sadhu & Sanyasi. Overnight at Denkanal Palace. (Total 70 Km) 


Day 5: Dhenkanal Palace - Nuapatana & Manaiabandha Weavers Village – Phulbani 

Morning drive to Phulbani enroute visit Nuapatana textile village, the village has a distinct place in the map of Indian textiles, their TIE & DYE patterns popularly known as “IKAT”. Then visit Maniabandha Textile village. Overnight stay at Phulbani. (Total 200 Km) 


Day 06: Phulbani - Sonepur Weavers- Sagararpalli Weavers - Balangir 

Morning drive to Balangir . Enroute visit Sonepur to visit master craftsmen to sea dying process, ingredients, different fabrics pattern & pocket looms etc. Sonepur is famous for Tusser Silk Saree fabric. Then drive to Sagarpalli weaving factory of Silk & Cotton, experience the traditional design, development, processing, talk to weavers. Overnight at Balangir. Overnight at Balangir. (Total 240 Km) 


Day 07: Balangir – Barpali - Bargarh Weavers –Sambalpur 

Morning drive to Barpali, the village of Tassar Silk & Cotton weavers. These sarees are known for their incorporation of traditional motifs like Shankha (Shell), Chakra ( Wheel), Phula ( Flower) which are very symbolic in nature. Later drive to Bargarh to see the Bandha work by the weaving society. Waiver of Bargarh, Barpali & Sonepur excel in weaving sarees in their own traditional pattern, it’s a treat to watch these weaver communities such as bhulias, Kostas, Gaudias creating intricate patterns on fabric. Evening transfer to Sambalpur. Overnight at Sambalpur. (Total 130 Km) 


Day 08: Sambalpur – Jharsuguda 

 Morning transfer to Jharsuguda Airport , for onward journey. (Total 65 Km)
